Removing a menu item

1. Open the menu editor.
2. Open the relevant menu item's controls and choose its removal action.
3. Check what happens to any nested items before completing the removal.
4. Reload the editor and check the public menu.

Removing the menu item does not delete or unpublish its page. People may still reach that page through its URL, search, another menu, or a link.

If the page itself should become unavailable, open it separately, clear Published, and save. If it has a replacement, consider updating links and arranging a redirect as well.
