Why can’t I find a page?

1. Open All pages and clear category, language, publication, and other filters.
2. Search for a short, distinctive part of the title.
3. Check other language titles if the site is multilingual.
4. Look in All media if the item is an image or file.
5. Follow a known edit link or ask another editor for the page URL.

An unpublished page may be absent from public search but available in the admin. Your account may also lack permission to see it. A renamed or deleted page will not necessarily appear under its old title.

Do not immediately create a replacement: that can produce duplicate content. If the page was deleted, ask about recovery first.
