Why can’t I edit this page?

1. Check that you are logged in with the intended account.
2. Open the page in the admin, not only its public view.
3. Check whether editing is unavailable for the whole page or only for a field or action.
4. Note the category and content group, if visible.
5. Send the page link and the missing action or error message to your website manager.

The page may belong to another content group or be managed by an import. Your role may allow reading but not editing, or editing but not deleting.

Deletion protection is different from permission to edit text. Do not make a duplicate just to bypass a restriction: it can leave conflicting versions on the site.
