mod_copyright

Module for copyright metadata, rights statements, attribution, and source provenance.

The admin panel manages rights, rights_attribution, rights_year, provenance_html, and provenance_url on each resource. Attribution is the credit line; provenance describes where the material came from, such as a collection, archive reference, or publication.

In the resource editor, open Settings & more and expand Rights, attribution and provenance to edit these fields.

The expanded copyright admin panel with license, attribution, year, provenance editor, and source URL fields.

provenance_html is optional rich text and supports the resource's languages. Templates use the normal resource language fallback when a translation is missing. provenance_url is an optional, language-independent link to the original source record. The standard resource property handling sanitizes HTML and URLs.

Include {% include "_provenance.tpl" id=id %} to display source provenance. It is separate from _copyright.tpl and has no site-wide default values.
