This model tracks deleted resources (see model#rsc<\/code><\/a>). Its primary goal is to be able to\ndetermine if a resource never existed, has been deleted or has been replaced by another resource.<\/p>\n

Information kept<\/h2>\n

Only very basic information of the deleted resource is kept in the rsc_gone<\/code> table. It is enough for referring to a new\nlocation, giving correct errors or to determine who deleted a resource.<\/p>\n

The saved category, content group, visibility and ownership fields are used for an ACL filter on the deleted-pages overview.<\/p>\n

Display labels are kept in props_json<\/code>; complete resource data remains in module#mod_backup<\/code><\/a> revisions.\nRestoring a resource removes its tombstone.\nprops_json.deletion_reason<\/code> distinguishes manual deletion from automatic dependent cleanup.\nImports respect manual deletion; dependent resources can be imported again if referenced.\nLegacy tombstones without a reason are treated as manual deletions.\nOnly category\/content-group labels are copied. props_json.deleter_id<\/code> identifies the deletion actor;\nperson titles are read from live resources through the normal ACL checks.<\/p>\n

The public model paths below expose only routing information. Reading archived metadata requires admin\naccess plus update permission on the saved ACL fields (is_editable\/2<\/code>). ACL modules implement\nview_deleted<\/code> on an acl_rsc<\/code> snapshot and acl_rsc_gone_sql<\/code> for SQL filtering; unsupported modules\nfail closed. Legacy metadata is populated in resumable background batches by mod_backup<\/code>.<\/p>\n

Properties<\/h2>\n

Whenever a resource is deleted through model#rsc<\/code><\/a>, some information from that resource\nis copied to the rsc_gone<\/code> table.<\/p>\n
