[13:54:58] <Steffen Hanikel> I have a working sass module: https://bitbucket.org/zeitmacht/mod_sass/src/65f31f44084383e71f79eaead9f32b081ba76eaf/controllers/controller_sass.erl?at=master
[13:55:15] <Steffen Hanikel> dependency managment for the cache invalidation is not easy
[13:55:55] <Steffen Hanikel> as you most often need to run the processor to get the dependencies right

[22:27:52] <jarimatti> Question regarding commit messages: The message should be prefixed with the module name.
[22:28:40] <jarimatti> I’m updating the logon template in the admin interface and I have to update both mod_authentication template _logon_form.tpl and mod_admin stuff. Should I commit these separately?
[22:31:19] Maas leaves the room
[22:52:35] <arjan> jarimatti: just prefix it mod_admin if it is mostly admin related
[22:52:38] <arjan> which it is, right?
[22:53:01] <jarimatti> Yes. My plan is to work with the admin interface first and then start checking other templates.
[22:54:44] <jarimatti> I already committed them separately, I hope it’s OK.
[22:55:51] <arjan> ok cool
[22:56:16] <jarimatti> Things are hilariously broken right now. :)
[22:56:26] <arjan> lol
[22:56:34] <arjan> it's a big bunch of templates indeed
[22:56:50] <jarimatti> Yup. Let’s see how far I can get with this...
[22:56:55] <arjan> do you have a script or something? or a set of guidelines
[22:57:08] <arjan> because 3rd party admin modules might also need to be changed which is out of your control
[22:57:27] <jarimatti> I’m following the Bootstrap docs and migration guides, thus working manually.
[22:57:38] <jarimatti> Which is a bit unfortunate, but on the other hand very educating.
[22:57:56] <arjan> okay
[22:58:14] <arjan> I know how you feel
[22:58:17] <jarimatti> Good point re the 3rd party admin modules, thanks!
[22:58:29] <arjan> I ported the admin *to* bootstrap from the previous css framework (atatonic)
[22:58:46] <jarimatti> Then you know exactly how I feel. :)
[22:59:28] <arjan> yep
[22:59:59] <arjan> emacs helped me out a lot there, I was recording macros for the tedious tasks
[23:00:11] <jarimatti> This is piece of cake. I could share a story or two about one job, where I had to work with very bad VB6 code. After year 2000. :P
[23:00:48] <jarimatti> I’m also using Emacs. I used to use Vim but somehow the Lispy things brought me to the dark side.
[23:00:55] <arjan> :)
[23:01:08] <arjan> wow, convert from vim to emacs.. you dont hear that a lot :)
[23:01:46] <jarimatti> Vimscript sucks golfballs through garden hose when compared to elisp. Editing is faster and more fun in Vim but the scripting is not so nice.
[23:02:12] <jarimatti> I used to use Vim with R, even did some scripts then.
