[11:18:20] <Marc Worrell> A must read for everybody working on the 0.10dev: http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg248054.html
[11:18:21] <Marc Worrell> :)
[11:19:01] <Marc Worrell> Adding access controls, for the MQTT listener, and then we should be quite ok for first testing.

[11:43:50] <Steffen Hanikel> nice, is that want you want to use for browser/server communication?
[11:44:22] <Steffen Hanikel> its hard to get through the buzzwords ;)
[11:49:05] <Marc Worrell> :p
[11:49:38] <Marc Worrell> I am adding a simple mqtt message transport and exchange on the browser side. It works together with the page process on the server side.
[11:50:14] <Marc Worrell> So not a full fledged browser mqtt implementation, just a simple forwarding of topics between the browser and the server
[11:50:41] <Marc Worrell> It uses the normal postback/comet/websocket connections for the communication (later we can make that more efficient)
[11:51:10] <Marc Worrell> And encodes the messages in UBF(A), so that we can move Erlang constructs back&forth without much mapping problems.
[11:51:53] <Marc Worrell> Later I would like to have a more tighter integration of this, but slowly step by step.
[11:52:05] <Steffen Hanikel> ah, and you can map UBF(A) to javascript objects?
[11:52:37] simon.smithies leaves the room
[13:26:40] <Marc Worrell> yes, in the browser. That needs some extra work, so that we can map simple records to javascript objects and vice versa
[13:26:55] <Marc Worrell> You can try it all out here: https://github.com/zotonic/zotonic/issues/642
[13:41:45] <Marc Worrell> To all core team members: please have a quick look at the above issue and the branch https://github.com/zotonic/zotonic/tree/mw-mqtt
