[09:40:17] <Marc Worrell> Good morning everybody :)
[09:43:42] Maas joins the room
[09:50:00] <Arjan> hi
[09:50:22] <Andreas Stenius> hellu
[09:51:33] <Maas> Morning
[10:10:02] <Maas> Another day of fixing the interwebs. :-)
[10:58:23] Arjan leaves the room
[11:01:47] Arjan joins the room
[11:08:12] <Marc Worrell> Did you see this announcement, nice apps in the web browser, from Apple https://www.apple.com/icloud/features/documents.html
[11:08:38] <Marc Worrell> curious what they used in the browser
[11:09:03] <Maas> Me too, want to sync it :-)
[11:09:12] <Marc Worrell> :p
[11:09:25] <Marc Worrell> would like a subset of that for page editing
[11:09:43] <Marc Worrell> maybe I need to learn Javascript after all ….
[11:10:07] <Maas> The demo looked pretty slick. I wonder if it is a new framework that they are working on.
[11:10:19] <Marc Worrell> yep - was wondering that too
[11:11:07] <Maas> Their webobjects stuff is a bit outdated.
[11:11:11] <Marc Worrell> anybody has a developer account ?
[11:11:14] <Marc Worrell> https://beta.icloud.com
[11:12:24] <Maas> Hmm, no I used to have one, but...
[11:13:31] <Marc Worrell> needs to be one enable on the newest iOS or OS X - my OS X is too old
[11:14:27] <Maas> I have mountain lion on my mbp and imac (hd still broken though)
[11:15:11] <Andreas Stenius> oh, was going to say I have a apple dev account... but as I've not used it for quite some time... it may not work.. ?
[11:16:01] <Maas> Hmm, maybe my old dev account works too. Checking tonight, have to finish something... deadlines approaching.
[11:16:28] <Maas> Still some goofy andoid bugs to deal with.
[11:17:41] <Marc Worrell> yeah - saw that Websockets thing you fixed - really stupid of Samsung
[11:18:06] mawuli.ypa leaves the room
[11:18:31] <Marc Worrell> iCloud used to use SproutCore
[11:18:35] mawuli.ypa joins the room
[11:18:43] <Maas> Weird. Looks like develop code which escaped in the wild. Client reported that everything worked except on samsung phones.
[11:19:31] <Marc Worrell> Samsung is using their own version of Android - I am not very surprised about unique Samsung problems
[11:19:58] <Maas> Next problem is a strange iframe sizing problems.
[11:20:52] <Maas> iphone's body height are too small when there are scaled images on the page.
[11:21:27] <Maas> Even worse, on android the body height is fixed.
[11:21:49] <Maas> Oh, ios doesn't report orientation changes inside iframes.
[11:21:58] <Marc Worrell> argghh
[11:23:02] <Maas> Lots of goofy things. It will probably be interesting to get everything working everywhere.
[11:26:05] <Maas> Saving the goofy stuff for later today. First finish adding application specific metrics.

[15:16:49] <Maas> From what moment on can you use z_search to lookup things? I do not seem to be able to use it when a module is started as it then returns unknown search query...
[15:19:30] <Maas> Want to lookup some resource ids when a module starts.
[15:22:48] <Maas> aha, found it, mod_search must have started first....
[15:24:40] <Maas> Hmm, how can I enforce that mod_search is started before my module...
[15:25:48] <Andreas Stenius> -mod_depends([..]).
[15:26:15] <Maas> ha, or get a lower prio
[15:26:29] <Maas> lower then mod_search
[15:26:41] <Andreas Stenius> mod_search has prio 1000... is yours higher?
[15:26:49] <Maas> It was :-)
[15:26:52] <Andreas Stenius> oh
[15:27:04] <Andreas Stenius> ah
[15:27:15] <Andreas Stenius> of course... higher prio (i.e. lowe number) right...
[15:27:42] <Andreas Stenius> otherwise a -mod_depend([mod_search]). will make sure your module won't start in case mod_search fails to start...
[15:27:44] <Maas> :-) nice gotcha
[15:29:15] <Maas> Doen't you have to provide a mod_provides before that works?
[15:29:35] <Maas> Or is the module name enough...
[15:30:10] <Andreas Stenius> you can use the module name too..
[15:30:20] <Andreas Stenius> (I'm pretty sure...)
[15:30:22] <Maas> Didn't know that. Nice.
[15:30:31] <Maas> trying right away.
[15:30:59] <Maas> Nope.
[15:31:59] <Andreas Stenius> dang.. it should work..
[15:32:24] <Maas> duh, typo.
[15:33:06] <Andreas Stenius> typo?
[15:33:19] <Maas> -mod_depend... must be mod_depends..
[15:33:24] <Andreas Stenius> yeah
[15:33:53] <Maas> Yes, that did the trick. Thanks.
[15:34:00] <Andreas Stenius> phew :)
[15:34:26] <Andreas Stenius> was looking at the code, and couldn't actually see that it does work like that... a bit hard to follow the code there... :p
[15:34:44] <Maas> That was why I asked...
[15:37:18] <Maas> Busy with application specific metrics. Need to lookup some ids to create the counters I need.
[15:42:59] <Maas> And of course update when adding and removing resources.
[15:52:01] <Marc Worrell> stickers in transit: http://www.dhl.nl/content/nl/en/express/tracking.shtml?brand=DHL&AWB=8235001946%0D%0A

[16:01:14] <Marc Worrell> Should have been here before 12 o'clock…. I think we need to get some money back from them
[16:42:18] jeff.bell joins the room
[16:48:12] <Maas> Huh, we don't have a z_stats:delete function...
[16:59:53] <Maas> Stickers!
