[11:11:06] <hc> is there a way to use the |join filter with one value of an m.rsc?
[11:11:46] <hc> i.e., something like {{ m.rsc[id].o.author.title|join:", " }}
[11:17:45] Ilya Rezvov leaves the room
[11:17:57] <hc> i've worked around it by doing: {% for author in m.rsc[id].o.author %}{{ author.title }}{% if forloop.last %}{% else %}, {% endif %} {% endfor %}

[11:25:31] <Marc Worrell> @hc Am afraid we don't have something like that
[11:25:52] <Marc Worrell> would be nice though, a filter to map list of ids to values of a property
[11:33:55] <maas.maarten.zeeman> We must be reading the same stuff. Yesterday evening I also read about sqlite4. It almost looks like a drop in replacement. Not sure what the pro's and cons are. sqlite3 and 4 will co-exist, it is not a replacement.

[12:44:43] <Marc Worrell> we have to wait and see, they are in development now
[12:45:15] <Marc Worrell> but that sqlite4 uses a log-merge approach is interesting. might be very fast.
[12:45:25] <Marc Worrell> if only we had parallel queries...

[13:19:26] <maas.maarten.zeeman> Is the way zodb used to store its data. That was very robust.
[13:20:07] <maas.maarten.zeeman> Parallel queries can be done by opening multiple connections, but sqlite uses per table locks.
[13:20:28] <maas.maarten.zeeman> Low overhead, but...

[13:24:54] <maas.maarten.zeeman> O no in zodb the database was the same as the transaction log.
[13:24:59] <maas.maarten.zeeman> :-)

[14:00:11] <Marc Worrell> as long we don't do table scans the per-table-lock is not too bad :p
[14:00:36] <Marc Worrell> or can we have multiple readers and a single writer? (I seem to remember that was the case)
